Story Pitch Part 1

Leon, a cattle baron, is in Darwin Hospital for life saving cancer surgery. During his chemo he makes a strong connection with his nurse Lydia. She is unexpectedly called back to Melbourne when her sister has a bad accident. The injuries prompt Lydia to agree to a paid surrogacy in a desperate bid to raise money to save her sister from disfigurement.
When Leon’s parents die in a plane crash he is shocked to find a contract about a baby. Furious he tracks down the mercenary woman having his baby – and discovers its Lydia. Pregnancy complications lead Lydia to question her choices.
