Description
Since high school Lavinia Carter has had no pull with fate and the higher powers. Plus being the black sheep of the family makes her home life hell because she can't get along with her mother and sister-the blonde barbies and darlings of high society. So she only comes home for holidays, preferring to spend most of her time in NYU and with her ever quirky father in Los Angeles. So when her sister makes her the maid of honor for her wedding, Lavinia tries very hard to live up to the expectations of her family. Only to have all her hard work ruined by the groom who objects at last minute to confess his love for her at his own wedding in front of her family and the wedding guests. Fate is a heartless bitch. So when help arrives in form of Alexander Seymour, the guy she rejected 7 months ago, who agrees to pretend they are a couple in front of her mom and sister if she agrees to date him for real.
