Prologue

Jonathan is returning to a dark place, the city he has grown up in. The fate of the world depends on the success of his mission.
David is surrounded by darkness about to jump into oblivion, when he meets the future.
Hope is unhappy for having been sent to a time most of her contemporaries call the Dark Ages, but she has to realize that a shadow is hanging over her own time, a sword of Damocles threatening to fall.
All three of them will see that they are connected in unexpected ways as a simple act of kindness pierces through the darkness of time and space.
