Preface 1: The Virtues of Alena

In the near future, scientists conduct an experiment on five newborn babies, giving each of the children a virtuous personality, intelligence, wit, and more, all inscribed in their DNA. Though the children grow up without a problem in the lab in which they were born, the discovery of free will is a huge discovery that makes them question whether being perfect is worth loosing their sense of self.
