Sixteen year old Nia Parks is the most popular girl in the eleventh grade. Everyday she comes to school with the biggest smile on her face. Every girl wishes their life was as perfect as hers. But what they don't know behind her smile is that its forced.

For the past six years Nia has been abused by her parents. Her life is not perfect like everyone thinks it is. Everytime she goes to school she pretends that everything is alright when deep down she's crumbling inside. When the beatings start to get worst than usual Nia is entirely fed up.
