Chapter 1: "What the hell are you doing Oliver?!"

"As soon as his skin touched mine, I felt tingles explode all over my face. The tiny nerve endings sparking, leaving me reeling. I felt like someone had just sprayed fairy dust all over me. I momentarily closed my eyes, letting the feeling overwhelm me. That was, until I came to my senses.

From what I could sense, he was just as affected as I was. I could hear his strong, steady, heart beating a little faster than usual. I smirked. Sucker.

In one swift movement, I put my second plan of the day into action and did the only thing I could think of to get him away from me. I swirled round, eyes still fixed to the floor and brought my knee up to meet his crotch in one sharp jab. He grunted and moaned as he clutched between his legs. As much as I would have liked to, I didn't stop to watch him drop. Instead I scooped up my bags, opened my door and rushed in, making sure to lock the door behind me. From behind the door a loud thud indicated that Lucas had been taken down by my ninja skills. Too bad.

I lay down on my bed with my arms behind my head as I grinned, pleased with myself. 1-0 to Fee I thought with a smirk."

Ophelia Shelley is a wolf on the run and boy, does she hate it. Her and her brother Oliver fled her pack and have been moving from hotel to hotel ever since. Ophelia has never warmed to her wolf side, she was perfectly happy without paws and a snout. Instead, she wants to study medicine and see the world. One thing she especially does not want is a mate. When she finally convinces her brother to let her go to university she thinks she's well on her way to becoming a doctor! However, before she's even begun her first lecture, a tall, dark haired boy has stuck his snout into her business. He also happens to be claiming that she's his mate, and she'd love to jump into his arms. If she were a complacent, no-spine she-wolf, that is. However she's not, and that can only mean one thing. Trouble.
