Brenda has never been a positive person. She lost her dad before she could even speak, she just happened to be the one person in school who was bullied by everyone else, and now the world has gone to hell. So when she ends up in a town with walls, food, showers, and beds, she is not as relieved as her mother.

But her mindset changes when she meets a group of people who's been through as much as she has, maybe even more. One person in particular catches her eye and helps her realize that there's so much more to surviving.
