Introduction

After Demi's last tour, she wanted to try teaching. She went to college, got her degree, and she is now teaching her first year of second grade. Most of the kids are great, but one is extra special.

Seven year old Avery is just trying to survive the days. After having to do everything just right around her Mom, she goes to school to hide her secrets, only to go back to her abusive home.
