Essence is a Young & Thuggin 16 year old teenage girl who loses everything when her father Jess leaves her to keep his relationship with his girlfriend together. This lonely teen finds herself with no one, and no where to go but after a high school delinquent's Father sets his eyes on Essence. He gives her a job as a Maid cleaning and working in his house just to get back on her feet. Little that she know she finds herself going through hell all over again living with the selfish, and rude yet caring and loving ray ray.Throughout this journey she notices something a little weird between Mr.smith and ray. Both of them seem to be hiding something and she later on reveals the secret of this mystery. Both ray and essence seem to put aside there differences and become friends but she falls deep in love with a special someone but doesn't believe she'll ever love again.
