When Lunar Glare is attacked, Kate is left to watch as her family and friends are murdered. She never thought that such a terrible time would bring such a wonderful event; finding her mate. Tanner Andrews, Alpha of the Treepine pack, owed a debt to Alpha Paul of the Dawn Sun pack who wanted to get revenge on Lunar Glare for killing his son.
