High school student Lindsay Garcia is a big fan of crime-solving. Like Shawn Spencer, she is very observant and has a great photographic memory. She dreams of becoming a detective. But as a teenager, she is much too young. However, she still tries to solve cases before detectives can. Usually though, she falls a few weeks short. Suddenly, it all changes when she moves to Santa Barbara. A girl from the school she was going to is murdered AT SCHOOL. This could be the hardest Santa Barbara case yet, even the detectives can't get it. So, Lindsay goes "undercover" to figure out this murder before the detectives do. For once, she longs to be right first. With some help from psychic detective Shawn Spencer and his partner Gee Snapz(See what I did there? ;)) she might be able to do it. Until she finds out how twisted the girl's life really is.
