Chapter 1

In the year 1863, a rich and well-bred lady fell in love with an impecunious farm boy. After courting for three years, at the ripe age of nineteen, John asked an eighteen year old Charlotte to marry him; but nothing good ever lasts. They were to be married until an unsuspected heart attack ravages John’s life, leaving a very heart broken Charlotte in its wake.

With her heart being thoroughly soaked in morose and her parents scrambling to get an arranged marriage; Charlotte’s life seems bleak. Until, John comes back – temporarily – with a mission in mind.
