"Why are you following me?" She looked into the barely visible face, the face that had been following her for days.

The face in the shadows.

He only stared at her, his eyes completely void of emotion. Another wave of pain washes over her causing an agonizing scream to burst through her already aching body. He fights the urge to help his love through the excruciating pain he once had to endure.

"Why must you stand there watch me wither in pain?

The man only turns not sparing a glance at her only muttering few words that her newly sensitive ears could pick up.

"Soon little mate."
