Prologue

Chryslabum is the queen of the merpeople! She must choose between two wolds: one, the dark and decrepit world of the past that she is destined to inherit, the other, the seemingly calm and pleasant world of the present that is filled secrets and has a dark and seedy underbelly hidden underneath! Can she save her kingdom and find fulfillment in our world, or will she only find emptiness in two worlds that don't really want her?
