After 9-11 America has been torn between the East and the West. The West wanting war upon the Terrorists, but the East wanting a Treaty made. With everyone moving to their sides of the country those who live in the Silver-lining states are at a cross fire. People who live on the West side of the Silver- lining are fine, but those who live in Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana are in deep trouble. Those rich enough to move get as far as possible to the side they choose, but for those too poor have to face hell on earth. Marissa Hayes was born a few months before the tragedy struck, but unfortunately for her she lives in Crooksville, Wisconsin. With her family to poor to move they start to hear stories of children being taken by the West. Forcing her parents to get home security to protect their three children. What happens when the children are taken from the homes they love? Is there an age limit where the child can be too old to be taken? Those are questions everyone has been asking fearing the worst, but fourteen years later they now have to endure the worst. With nothing happening to little Crooksville everyone thinks they will be over-looked. Meaning no one has updated their security since the first time they got it. What happens when security isn't enough? What side do you choose? (I would just like to note that this is titled BoyxBoy because there WILL be two men that are together/married.. that's it)
