SET AFTER THE MUMMY RETURNS Alex is all grown up and working as an Egyptologist. just as his mother had. He works close With another Egyptologist who is an American who goes by the name Sarah Worthington. Sarah has always looked up to Evelyn O'Connell being the first female she knew of to work in her field, so when a chance arises to save her, Sarah does her best to do so. However after falling into a pool of mysterious water, she begins to have strange visions of the past. Similar to the ones Evelyn's has. Doing this she awakens a force stronger than any before. Imhotep is awoken again with Meela and the others of a secret society. Imhotep vows to kill Sarah thinking she is the reincarnation of the cousin of Nefertiri, Neferure. He swears to take the power and rule the world how he sees fit.
