PBHP: Book 1 of a new Mini Series...

The people I have met throughout my never ending life have always joked about me not having a soul and that my heart doesn't beat. It makes me nervous, they might be joking but they are really close to the truth. My immortality keeps me Earth bound however I am fairly young for my kind as I'm not quite 100 yet. In the 1920's I was a beautiful teenager tricked into the life I live now by a man who will never let me forget his face. Ever since the moment I escaped he has been looking for me every minute of every day, determined never to let me escape my fate.
