Chapter One

They say when you lose someone you love it's torture, but you learn to live with it; you move on. When they are stood on deaths-door, when they are somehow balanced between life and death, it's worse. You live each day not knowing if they are going to follow you to the next. You can only hope that tomorrow you will wake up and their chest will still be rising and falling.
