'Riley please. I don't want to break your heart.'

She said to me in her sweet voice. I couldn't bear to look at her.

'Riley i understand... But please'

I couldn't meet her stare.

'I just want to be with you'

She said in almost a whisper and she took a step towards me. She didn't understand. No one did. I heard her sigh in frustration and she held my face in her hands so delicately. I looked up at her eyes and i could see the tears flowing. I made her cry. Why couldn't she just leave me alone. Didn't she see that all I did was cause people pain. I had to get away from her before i completely hurt her. I looked at her teary face and did what i always did.
I walked away.
