"Welcome back from the break. We are still here with the three remaining members of One Direction. Hello boys." The reporter turned to the young men sitting at the news desk with her. They looked like they hadn't slept in months. Their eyes were baggy and red-rimmed, glistening with unshed tears. They were squeezing each others hands under the table, out of sight from the cameras. The reporter gave them an encouraging nod. Her heart was full of sympathy for the three broken young men sitting in front of her. She took a deep breath. "I'm sure it's been a rough few days. How long have Niall and Liam been missing?" The studio was silent. The three boys glanced at each other, none of them wanting to answer. Finally, the oldest looked up. His voice was rough and cracking from grief. "Nine days." ~^~ Niall and Liam have disappeared. The gang who's kidnapped them has given an ultimatum: "Pay the ransom or they will be dead in two weeks." Unfortunately, it's just not that simple.
