Rain

An ear splitting, blood curdling, heart wrenching scream tore through the silent night. I so desperately wanted to save this person, the only human I have heard, but my feet, my body would not allow it.

I thought I could never be more afraid than I was at that second. I was wrong. A bone chilling howl traveled down the roads, followed closely with a final scream. Foolishly my lips parted and my panicked shriek filled the dark night.
