Zayn was making big changes. Over the course of four months Zayn lost his four best friends, fiancé, and the one person he thought could help him kick start a solo career. He thought he missed his shot. But after being approached by RCA recording company, Zayn signs a contract and officially starts his solo career.

After graduation, 18 year old Serena Jerkins decided that LA was where she wanted to start her adulthood. She now has an apartment in the city, and a job as a bartender at 1 Oak night club. As a teenager Serena was never happy, didn't have many friends, and definitely didn't date. When she meets Zayn at 1 Oak she is not impressed. She's heard about him, he has a reputation.
