Description
A hundred years into the future, the United States established the strongest military in the world by using cruel methods. In schools, a child is assessed in terms of academic and physical strength until reaching the age of fourteen. From There, futures are determined split into two. The bottom half of each grade are to lead a dreary life of a Worker, while the top half participates in the Troikan Trial. That isn't the only requirement. Once a child is born in the U.S., they are cloned, and the clones are sent to live in a separate city. In the trial, the upper students are introduced to their clone fight to the death in order to determine the strongest. The winner is rewarded with an elite life serving in the military. Two friends, Aspen and Oakley, approach the trial after months of training. They have dreams of marriage and are prepared to win. However, this year the trial has been modified without notice- and the future turns into nothing like they had expected it to be.
