The master thief is sucked into a vortex, taking him back through time. Waking up in what he thought was ancient Egypt, he later finds out that he has been transported to another dimension! Human bandits roam the desert scavenging for needs and killing everyone in their path. To find a way home, he makes an uneasy alliance with the roadwarrior who, in exchange for his help, wants all the oil he can carry and solitude in the desert.
