After a house fire left Dylan and his fiancée, Marnie, homeless and legally responsible for their close friends' young son, they face a new set of battles that sheds light on the people they truly are. Taking refuge in a beat-up motel, a distance begins to grow between them, and their demons are illuminated from the shadows; all out to play. When Marnie takes off her ring, Dylan finds friendship in the company of a housekeeper with her own burning secrets.
