Earth is ruined. The only hope to save mankind is ship 4 miles long and 2 miles wide, carrying 265,000 chosen humans in cryogenic stasis. One or two humans have to be "wake" at all times, the computer is programmed for this.

A 6,000-year journey to New Utopia gets off to a rough start.
