When Amanda was in eighth grade, her best friend, Sydney committed suicide. She only had one other friend, named Hailey. Together Hailey and Amanda helped each other get through on the day Sydney died. Now that it's highschool, Hailey and Amanda have gone different paths, Hailey being an "emo" and Amanda being popular .
