17 year old Padawan Lance Axel has dreamed of being a Jedi Knight. Now, when his dream becomes a reality, he is put to be the commanding general of the 720th Legion and to be sent to the front lines effective immediately. With his dream slowly arriving, his nightmares rapidly emerge themselves into the world. Will he rise to be the best of the best? Or sink and die in the midst of battle? While the new Jedi fights for the Republic, a devious Sith Assassin has her mind set to destroy the opposing Jedi and win the war for the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Now armed with dangerous new weapons and given a battalion of Droids, her command proves to be a match for Lance and his crew. However, will this new opponent rise over the Republic's forces? Or will she soon be consumed by the Dark Side of the Force? Each faction set off to stop the other. Each using different, but effective, methods to engage the other.
