Prologue

"What do you take me for?" I asked, stepping towards him, this really was the last straw, I can't keep letting him order me around with this one stupid threat!
"I take you for a homeless girl who I generously helped out and is now repaying her favor." 
He took a step closer, instinctively taking a step back, you see that fight or flight response, my body always picks flight.
"You should know me by now." His menacing whisper sending shivers down my spine. "I don't do things for free." With that, he walked off.
