Soul Seeker

Evelynn is a half Guardian. When Evelynn's mother is incarcerated for her treacherous crime, Evelynn finds herself living a 'normal' life in the human world, always in fear that those close to her will discover her true identity, putting them in more danger than they are already in. She finds herself relating to Samuel, a moody and aggressive quarter Guardian who's personality awfully reflects the abuse he suffers from his abilities to see the wicked souls of the dead. Can Evelynn hide her secret forever, or will she be discovered? Can she trust her new family despite her mother's warnings?
