Chapter 1

Katrina Miller, aka Kat, was just a fairly normal 17 year old girl. She did well in school, had a handful of friends, and worked at her aunt's ditsy little bakery every afternoon. And it just so happens that while working one of those boring afternoon shifts, she meets a boy who changes her life.

Jason Ryder has always been a bad boy. After getting kicked out of school (again) he and his mom end up moving to the sleepy little town of Chesapeake. While exploring his surroundings, he finds himself conveniently in front of a tiny little bakery, and meets a girl who changes his life.
