Chapter 1

As the Shadowmaster proclaims his rule over the Darklands by force, Jade is suddenly alone to fend for herself when her family is rescued from the attack of dark warriors and she is left behind. When she is taken in by warriors and a kind empress she discovers that a role is foretold for her in the Fourth Prophecy, which tells of the final quest that will decide the fate of the Underworld once and for all. Deciding who is on the side of the Unity of Guardians is not just a matter of beliefs--it's a matter of life and death.
