Author's Note

Elizabeth is a quiet, reserved girl raised by a down-home, Southern Baptist mother who expects nothing less than perfection from her daughter. She has the perfect boyfriend, on his way to being a doctor, who only wants to love her unrelentingly for the rest of her life.

But Elizabeth is not happy. As perfect as her life may seem from the outside looking in, something does not fit.

When Elizabeth's car breaks down outside of the city, her life takes a sharp left turn as she encounters a group of women that make her explore who she is and who she isn't . She discovers that maybe she isn't Elizabeth after all.

Maybe she is Lizzie.
