Prologue

"Look Noah. I'm sorry-"

"You have nothing to be sorry for." He cuts me off. I let out of a breath. I felt a bit relieved.

"So are we back to-"

"Look we shouldn't hang out anymore." His words instantly make my stomach drop.

"Why? I don't understand," I step closer to him. I had the urge to grab a hold of his arms that were crossed over his chest and unfold them. "I thought we were friends and I thought there was something there."

His eyes narrow at me words and he takes a step back from me.

"I don't want to be your friend or anything else for that matter. Goodbye Em." With that he leaves, leaving me by myself and heartbroken.
