Prologue

Cadence Foster is your typical over acheiving, goody two shoes 16 year old. She runs on a specific schedule and would go crazy if anything were to interrupt it. She is only close to a total of one, not including her family.

Jace Owens is the new boy, the bad boy. He has a bad past and has no schedule at all. He is a conceited guy with wicked humor. He takes interest in Cadence and teaches her how to let go and be free. But she also teaches him how to let his guard down and let people care for him.

That is until Cadence is quickly woken up into a new reality, leaving the one she knew just a figure of her imagination...
