01: Darker Than Darkness

Laura Stone has thousands of secrets she keeps to herself. Soon people who know her secrets and share the same ones come to protect her from 'them'. 'They' want her to come back to where she belongs, but that place, it's darkness. How will she survive her new life with new and strange people? How will she save the people she love most from the darkness that is trapping all of Earth? How will she stop society from destroying everyone and everything? Because this evil, this nightmare, it's darker than darkness.

This is a story of grief, loss, love, and a journey in finding one's self. Also, this story is a companion to As I Awake (without the vampires).
