Chapter 1

Alan has been working at the local animal shelter in his new town for three months now. When the shelter dog he has grown so close to gets adopted, what will he do? Especially when the man that adopted him is a tall, angry, scary looking tattooed man. Will the sweet pit Echo be doomed to live with an abusive owner, or is there a lot more to the tattooed giant that adopted her than everyone assumes?
