Chapter 1- The Journal

A bullied, teenage girl has gone through a lot at home. Only does her best friend know why. Serenity has always been close to her father. That is, until he cheats on her mother and doesn't keep contact with her. She tries her best to fight the wars without battle scars. She writes songs in a journal. She doesn't let her best friend see it. Until, her best friend finds it and reads it during band rehearsal. Only then, does he, the drummer, discover many things about his best friend.
