Strange Artifact

After the reader moves to her new secluded house, she expects everything to go smoothly. A steady job, a great life, no worries at all.
Once the reader is settled in, she decides to go explore her new surroundings.

But her whole life gets turned around after finding a Small orange Gemstone in a smoking crater near her house.
