Four infant freshwater turtles in the wilderness are accidentally mutated by a strange ooze. Being given wings of raptors (predatory birds), they learn the ways of surviving and getting along as a family with the help of Hamato Yoshi (Splinter), the one who found them and adopted them as his own children.
