Myeong and Seokjin were best friends from 6th to 8th grade. That all ended when he had to move back to Korea with his parents.

The summer after Myeong graduates college at the top of her class, she is at the store shopping, when she sees her favorite Kpop idol, Jin from BTS with his fellow member Rapmonster. Jin was her all time favorite because he reminded her of her old friend and crush Seokjin.

Jin noticed Myeong and wanted to approach her, he was too embarrassed over his broken English so he had Rapmonster go up to her for him.

She starts to notice things about Jin that point to the fact he just might be her old best friend Seokjin.
