Chapter One: Ophelia

1774. Williamsburg, Virginia.
On the brink of revolutionary war, she is the daughter of the newly made Governor of Virginia, voice of the King in the colonies. She starts a new life and a new love in the New World.
He is a Patriot--a Yankee--and will play his part as best he can to rid America of British rule.
With their families siding with opposing Tory and Patriot parties, will the political upheaval end their newly found happiness before it is given a chance to bloom? Perhaps this colonial Romeo and Juliet will win to have a happier ending than their predecessors... or perhaps not....
