Austin is your average, seventeen year old boy. He has friends, known in school, gets good grades; he's got a good high school life. His family, or his mom, dad, and sister, are wealthy. Oh, did I mention he's in love with a sick girl? Well, other than that minor detail, his life's pretty normal.

Then there's Ally, a runaway. She has anxiety, she was born with. Although, throw in your dead mom and abusive dad, it's not too hard to believe. She has a best friend, also her only friend, who helps her deal with her life.

After finding out she's not stable and safe in a shelter, her best friend, Grace, welcomes her into her home. The normal cliche? Austin's her brother.
