"Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City," he sang. I frowned at him and shook my head. "You know I hate that, Louis." "Yes, I do, now sing with me!" Delilah Godfrey knows that Louis Tomlinson is not real. He couldn't be. She is seventeen years old, but never outgrew her imaginary friend. This affects her shook performance, social standing, and mental state. One day, however, Delilah notices that Louis is acting strangely. He never has gotten sick. All of a sudden he's developed a cough, and doesn't seem to be as bright and solid as he usually is to her. So, she begins a small investigation. "What is lucid dreaming, Mom?" I asked her, glancing worriedly at the fading Louis. "It's when someone is dreaming, and it seems real." "What if... It is real? Like, they're walking in the real world. What if they're a real person in a coma or something and only one person could see them?" She frowned at me. "Then... Well... I'm not sure, why do you ask?" "Lou is fading."
