About a month after the incident that broke her heart and spirit, Allie found her self barely hanging on. She barely ate, barely slept, and didn't say a word unless they were short and abrupt.

When her parents send her to move in with her brother Pete in Chicago, she gets closer to the one person she knew she shouldn't.
