A boy in Ghent

Luke is ten years old when he visits his dying grandmother in the city of Ghent, Belgium. He spends his days playing alone by the stream in her backyard and wishing his parents weren't so busy.

He could not imagine that the day his oma passed away would be the most frightening, yet fantastic of his entire life.
