Nova Carmichael moves to Paris, France, in hopes to leave behind her struggling past in America and start over with her best friend, Claudia. After two days of living in her apartment, she's attacked by an intruder. The mysterious and reserved neighbor, Levi Ackerman is the one to save her. While Claudia is deeply involved with her boyfriend and starts to distant herself from Nova; Nova begins to rely on Levi for some company. From then on, she feels a bond with him she thought she would never be able to feel. Nova's stubborn and slightly insecure personally refuses to let her admit this.
