On the day Princess Celestia banished Nighmare Moon to the moon, Princess Celestia used only the six Elements of Harmony; Magic, Honesty, Laughter, Kindness, Loyalty, and Generosity. They had decided to keep hidden the element of Friendship because if it was destroyed, Equestria would be in great danger. Princess Celestia hid the element of Friendship deep within the Everfree Forest.
