Prologue

I was starstruck, in every sense of the word.

When Asa looked at me, I felt a million things at once. Admiration. Confusion. Anger. Love.

But I couldn't tell him how I felt. I lost my chance.

Yet still, as he looked down at me with his brilliant blue eyes, and as his lips seemed to get so frighteningly close to mine, I lost all self control and leaned up to kiss him.
