"Look I know what I did was wrong and unfair but now this is the only thing keeping him here with me," she confessed quietly. "That's not true, he loves you," I argued. She scoffed. "Yeah, right and the dead aren't roaming the Earth," she objected. "Just promise me that when I die, you'll treat him better than I ever could," she pleaded. "You're not going to-" she cut me off. "What? Not going to die? Don't say that. That's the biggest lie I've ever heard. So stop trying to make me feel better and just promise me that," she demanded. I sighed.
